Good Vibrations

levels-of-conciousness.jpg

Ever meet someone and just like their "vibe?" The Beach Boys were onto something. The above concept was introduced at a seminar I attended last weekend and it has had an indelible impression on my mind, heart and spirit.

This graphic illustrating David R. Hawkins' levels of consciousness from his book, "Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender" has me enthralled. I can't stop thinking about it.

Each level has a corresponding frequency, progressively higher as you move up the scale (higher = better). Enlightenment is 600, shame 20. As I study Intuition Medicine(R), on the road to becoming a medical intuitive, I'm experiencing the higher vibrations first hand and feeling their healing power. All life is energy. All of it. Every last speck in the Universe. If we're made of energy, that means we are beings of light.

I was so delighted to see "Joy" at the top of the scale since it's the goal of my life styling business to help women attain joyful success and extraordinary outcomes. And frankly, something I have had to work at myself. Teach what you need to learn, right?  (My coaching teacher recently dubbed me, Joy Master. I'm still trying that one on.)

Life styling combines four principles:

  • Wisdom - tapping into your intuition

  • Purpose - connecting with your why

  • Practice - customizing a daily practice of self-care

  • Beauty - surrounding yourself with people, places and things that vibrate at a higher level (like attracts like in the energy realm). For me, that's the definition of Beauty, and it is very healing physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I've been called by Beauty my whole life. As a child, it was Nature; then working in the beauty industry; followed by interior design and now Intuition Medicine. Funny how our purpose leads us even when we're not sure what it is. If Beauty were a level of consciousness, I'd put it between Joy and Peace.

What calls to you? How can you incorporate more of that into your day or your life?

Good vibrations!
